FIBERGLASS MESH FOR MICROCEMENT | MYMESH

Fiberglass meshes in white and red with an earth-colored wall in the background

The fiberglass mesh adds a plus of resistance to the microcement coating, since it absorbs the small movements that can occur in the support.

It strengthens the structure and helps prevent the formation of cracks in the finishes.

The use of fiberglass meshes for microcement also preserves the quality of the microcement, especially when applied on stairs and walls. Its properties provide enormous benefits when covering any space with microcement.

The size of the fiberglass mesh depends on the granularity of the microcement to be applied.

Application of MyMesh

1 - If the surface is damaged, presents cracks or fissures, it should be repaired beforehand to start the process of applying microcement.

2 - Before placing the mesh, the support must be clean, dry and completely free of fats and oils.

3 - Once the primer has been applied to the surface, spread the MyMesh fiberglass mesh making sure there are no folds and that it does not move.

4 - The mesh can be placed on absorbent, non-absorbent, vertical, horizontal surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.

5 - It is recommended to use a 160 gr mesh together with a microcement of XXL granulometry. This way, a coating of greater resistance is obtained.
