MICROMORTAR PRIMERS MYREVEST

Several layers of primer on a microcement surface

MyPrimer is the range of primers intended to consolidate the surface where the micromortar will be applied. When coating a surface, the preparation process is key to achieving good results.

For this reason, MyRevest has developed a line of primers that consolidate the backing and facilitate the adhesion of the micromortar to the existing surface. A coating before the application of micromortar that allows to seal pores, as well as protect and isolate the surface.

It's the product line designed to improve the application of the first layers of micromortar both on vertical and horizontal surfaces. Take the first step to achieving a professional and high-quality finish.

PRODUCTS

MICROMORTAR PRIMER FOR ABSORBENT SURFACES MYPRIMER 100

It's the primer that strengthens the surface and regulates absorption. It's the product designed for optimal pretreatment of the surface before the application of the micromortar.

MICROMORTAR PRIMER FOR NON-ABSORBENT SURFACES MYPRIMER 200

It is a ready-to-use adhesion promoter on non-absorbent surfaces. High-quality product, solvent-free that strengthens the surface to be covered and improves the adhesion of the microcement layer.

PRIMER FOR MICROCEMENT SLIPPERY SURFACES
MYPRIMER 300

It is the aggregate primer used to achieve a perfect anchoring of the microcement in slippery and low absorption surfaces. It comes ready to use.

EPOXY PRIMER MICROCEMENTMYPOXY

It is the resin epoxy two-component and is the best ally to block moisture or water vapor coming from the substrate. It is a high-quality product that does not contain solvents.
It can be applied on wet concrete and on tiles, with the aim of preventing the joints from being marked in the microcement coating.

What is the purpose of the primer in microcement?

The primer is the first step that the professional applicator has to master to achieve finishes with the highest quality.
As a product that acts as a primer bridge it offers several advantages:

-Improves the adhesion of the microcement with the surface to be coated

-It reinforces the protection of the coating on porous and non-porous surfaces

-It is a quick drying product that facilitates varnishing and microcement finishes

-It prevents the surface from absorbing the moisture from the substrate

When to use primers?

When we talk about primers, we refer to supports that need preparation or which have been previously stripped. Primers can be applied to all types of surfaces, but offer different solutions depending on the space where they are applied.

Its use makes special sense when microcement is to be applied on porous surfaces. In this case, the function of the primer is to prevent the surface from absorbing more material than desired when the professional proceeds to apply the first layers of microcement.
It is also recommended when the surface to be coated does not have the necessary adhesion, something that happens with smoother materials like glass or metal.

Its application is also advisable on soft, dusty surfaces or those that are very deteriorated. In this latter case, the space will need prior sanitation and application of primer so that the surface absorbs the microcement homogeneously.

In addition, it is an extra and necessary aid on those surfaces that need protection against moisture. Consult our range of primers and learn about our products.
