Application methods

It is essential that prior to the application of MySealant DSV Sealer it is checked that the support is free of dust and completely dry. Before applying polyurethane over microcement, a period of between 24 and 48 hours should be allowed to pass, depending on climatic conditions and the ventilation of the workspace.

Once everything is in order, the mixture should be applied with a short velvet roller or gun, ensuring that the application is carried out at an ambient temperature of between 10ºC and 30ºC.

Afterwards, using a 400 grain sandpaper, the first coat should be lightly sanded. Once this is done, wait at least 8 hours and a maximum of 2 days to apply the second coat. It should be kept in mind that if you are working on an old surface, you need to ensure to remove any kind of grease, oil, dust, etc. stains.

To conclude, and as a preventive measure, check the adherence of the product in a corner of the support. Once its effectiveness is guaranteed, proceed to varnish it completely.
