WATER-BASED BICOMPONENT POLYURETHANE VARNISH
MYSEALANT 2K

Liquid preparation of MySealant 2K sealing varnish

MySealant 2K is a water-based two-component polyurethane sealant varnish that has a high resistance to abrasion. It's recommended for protecting the microcement coating, as it increases mechanical resistances. Super matt, matt, satin and glossy finishes.

Its high performance gives the microcement support excellent chemical resistances as well. If you are looking for a guaranteed indoor seal, this is your varnish. Although it does not turn yellow outdoors.

It's a product that does not release harmful volatile organic substances for the environment and is solvent-free.

MySealant 2K application methods

The first step is to apply MyCover as a pore sealing primer so that subsequently MySealant 2K, as two-component water-based polyurethane varnish, creates the perfect protective film. 4 hours have to pass after applying MyCover.

MySealant 2K is applied onto the microcement coating in two layers and the drying time between layers is from 8 to 24 hours, depending on the environmental conditions and bearing in mind that humidity delays drying. After the first layer, the surface must be sanded with 400-grit paper, while the last layer does not require any sanding.

It should not be applied in environments with a temperature below 15°C and for optimum results it is advisable to apply it at temperatures ranging between 18 and 24°C. The polyurethane varnish can be applied using a fibre roller or a gun.

Seal Maintenance

- Do not clean the surface with chemical products or cleaners that contain abrasive substances. The use of bleach and detergents is especially contraindicated.

- Clean the coating with water and MyCleaner or neutral soap

- Do not cover the microcement seal until two weeks have passed since the application

- Before getting it wet, it is necessary to let the polyurethane varnish dry for at least one week. It should be noted that the fullness of its chemical properties is achieved after two weeks.
