MySealant 2K is a two-component water-based polyurethane varnish which is highly resistant to abrasion. It is suitable for protecting microcement coatings because it increases mechanical resistance. There are supermate, matt, satin and gloss finishes available.
Its high performance gives the microcement support magnificent chemical resistance as well. If you are looking for a guaranteed indoor sealing, this is the varnish you're looking for. Although in outdoors it does not yellow.
It is a product that does not release volatile organic substances harmful to the environment and is free of solvents.
In addition, it prevents dirt from adhering to the microcement, and facilitates the cleaning of the coating.

MySealant 2K
(2 layers) - 0,15 L/m²
The first step is to apply MyCover as a primer so that the polyurethane varnish MySealant 2K, can create a perfect protective film. Allow 4 hours after the application of MyCover.
Apply two coats of MySealant 2K over the microcement and leave 8 to 24 hours of drying time between coats. The enviromental conditions and humidity may delay drying. After the first coat the surface has to be sanded with a 400 grit sandpaper, while the last coat does not need any sanding.
It should not be applied at temperature below 15ºC and for best results it is advisable to apply at temperatures between 18 and 24ºC. The polyurethane varnish can be applied with a fibre roller or spray gun.
- Do not clean the surface with chemicals or cleaners containing abrasive substances. The use of bleach and detergents is particularly frobidden
- Clean the coating with water and MyClean or neutral soap.
- Do not cover the microcement until two weeks after applying MySealant 2K.
- Allow the polyurethane varnish to dry for at least one week before amending it. We should bear in mind that its full chemical properties are reached after two weeks.
