WATER-BASED POLYURETHANE VARNISH ONE-COMPONENT MYSEALANT GO!

It is the water-based one-component polyurethane varnish that protects ready-to-use microcements and epoxy microcements.

Its great resistance allows it to preserve colors and finishes for a longer time.

POLYURETHANE ACRYLIC VARNISH SOLVENT BASED TWO-COMPONENT
MYSEALANT DSV

It is a two-component polyurethane sealer with solvent specialized in protecting surfaces covered with microcement indoors and outdoors.

Varnish that allows the material to be preserved in optimal conditions, providing great resistance and enhancing the colors of the support.

Tips for applying varnish on microcement

1

Choice of the appropriate roller

Choosing the right roller

The choice of the right roller is the first step to achieving a professional application with perfect finishes. To seal and protect the microcement, it is advisable to use a microfiber or polyester fiber roller of 4 mm. In this way a smooth finish is achieved without excess material load. Choosing the roller with the indicated thickness allows to make the most of the varnish and obtain a seal that facilitates the cleaning tasks of the coating.

2

Choice of the appropriate roller
Drying time of the microcement

Microcement Drying Time

To ensure a proper application of the varnish, it is essential to respect the drying time of the last microcement coat. This way the applicator ensures that there are no negative humidities in the support.

3

Choice of the appropriate roller

Support free of humidity

Before applying the polyurethane varnish, the support must be free of humidity. For this, the drying time recommended in the technical data sheets must be observed. In the case of MyCover, which is an acrylic resin that is used before applying MySealant 2K, it would be necessary to let it dry for up to 24 hours.

4

Choice of the appropriate roller

Respect the drying time between coats

It will be necessary to respect the 12 hours of drying between the two coats of varnish that are applied, although the climatic, thermal and humidity conditions must be taken into account.

The second coat cannot be applied too soon, as this does not allow the first coat to breathe and the surface of the microcement would take longer to get its properties.

If the drying times between coats are not respected, the consequences will soon be detected. Any liquid falling on the microcement coating would mark the surface.
